Why do we put chests next to exit doors?

I can't count the number of times I've clicked on the door out in Bodysnatchers.

Other offenders are Inferno of the Damned and A Light in the Attic, off the top of my head.

Can we please move the chests far enough that if someone does a Q-E (pretty standard behavior for opening chests) they don't just leave the quest? Really sucks when you're doing high skulls and can't go back in to loot.

While I agree with the premise, chests should not be next to exits, I've clicked on the door instead of the chest exactly zero times. How sloppy do you have to be that you can't even count how many times you did it? You know the issue exists, yet you treat it like every other quest and just spam buttons?

Why ? So you can post such a thread which devs will read, and then laugh about it.
Or maybe so you can exit faster after looting, if you manage to loot that is.

A single misclick is a misclick too many; it's a source of un-fun when it happens to someone. It's annoying to accidently leave a quest because of it. It's annoying to see the chest right next to exit portal and have to spend extra effort to avoid exiting by mistake when other quests aren't a problem. Just because some people never have an issue with it doesn't mean it's a good design choice. It's a design flaw for some quests that's easily solvable by moving chest slightly further away from the exit.

It's a terrible design and they should all be fixed. But we're aware of the issue so you just have to be careful for 3 seconds.

There is a saltmarsh quest same way.. where you fight the bullywalgs at the end.. chest is right by the ladder to exit... Not sure if couple of the Sharn quests are the same..

They honestly just need to be set a few paces further away from the door. Like Beyond the rift is close to the door but far enough over that you're not gonna misclick or q+e the wrong thing
