Will I farm U73 loot?

Simple answer is NO. We have a FULL expansion coming this year along with a new Race. Previously full expansion give another +2 to your level so I would expect we will have lvl36 and new gear to boot, so I can not for the life of me see any reason to do these quests until the level cap goes up and I can then get 1st time bonus

I'm... kinda OCD with some stuff, so I'll habitually farm it, store it and then replace the stored copies with better versions (mythic and/or useful reaper unless traded for shards). I'll desginate some store area - i think it was 28 items for U73 iirc. See if I can downgrade 8 items which I'll never use (probably docents, picks and some other items), so it'll be a 2 slot inventory bank.

As others, I got burned with the absolutely atrocious Myth Drannor loot tables, and what appears to be their whole diversifying of the mechanics. People have been seeing higher percentage of loot drops with lower reaper, than higher reaper (ie: using the epic DA method). Someone wrote a good theory elsewhere on the forum.

So i won't re-roll any shards for it. It'll be as and when I come across it.

The only thing I have to decide, is which one of my bank mules I add an additional two slots of inventory storage in preparation of it.

I may collect some of the Level 4 pieces if they fit into equipment sets. If. From my point of view, all the rest of the equipment was wasted developer time.

I would say that, from my perspective, about 75% of all developer time is wasted. Of course, it is not all about me. Most of the time I can see who they are appeasing. This time, I am not seeing it. U73 is really weird.

I wouldn't expect any level cap increase this year.

I think they are pushing the goalposts too often for anyone but push raiders to care.

In theory, level caps are every two years, so it's not the case this year; it would be next year. Still, I don't see any useful items in this pack's loot.

We really need to get away from this system of randomly assigning stats to named items.

Farming loot, no, I don't see myself doing that. Playing them for fun and the first Reaper bonus, yes.

Still won't give an answer if its using rare mechanics or not

If you enjoy those rare farms by all means

This year is a FULL Expansion NOT a mini Expansion and The level cap comes with a FULL Expansion as well as a new Raid. What would be the point in doing a full expansion with a Raid to get the same level gear we already have?

IF memory serves, Sev stated level cap increases were scheduled for ever other year. At the time, the plan was also expansion every other year, mini on the years without a cap increasse.

That said, plans do change, but without a statement otherwise (and there hasn't been one to my knowledge) there shouldn't be a level cap increase this year.

The only statement so far is that it will be a full Expansion, a new race and a Raid but time will tell

That's the last I heard too. Back-to-back full expansions throws off the pattern, so I guess it could go either way level cap-wise. I feel like there's enough early legendary quests that the game could support an increase.

Well, they said the level cap would be every two years. Back then, it coincided with the full expansions, but the two don't necessarily go hand in hand. The point of doing a full expansion, I'd say, is that it's more expensive and they want more cash.

That doesn't mean there won't be a level cap this year. I've seen enough broken promises from this company to trust their claims over time. But they did say that the level caps would be every two years.

We'll have to wait for more information to see what happens in the end.

No, I won't be farming U73; in fact I don't farm at all. I have no interest in running R10 nor the hardest raids, I go with the difficulty that I find most fun.

If I don't get an item that I would like, maybe I will get it next life - I am a very casual game and I have no interest in getting the best of the best of the best gear. I know that some people will farm every expansion or set of adventures and if that is what they find fun that is great. Myself my needs are a lot simpler.

Problem with that is it's nothing set in stone. Just a pattern that they can say "We've been doing it this way." and can change at any time. Kind of like the switching of releases from: xpac, mini xpac, xpac, repeat.
To: whatever they want.

I will run the quests, but I'm not terribly compelled to farm them + I don't see anything (yet) in the loot list that is exciting to me.
If the MD style loot tables are in for these quests... that a double no.
