There isn't a Hardcore server so... And how does "Never would join a random LFG" factor into this?
A solo player that would play by permadeath rules even if no one is looking or maybe a group of 2 or 6. So you really don't need a whole server to yourself, if you are going to hold yourself and group to the rules.

2 or 6? Not 3, 4 or 5? I assume this all means something to you but it is very random unless you explain. Anyway, I would love to have a permanent Hardcore server. No, I won't quit if they don't create one. I have several Permadeath toons including one from the Unofficial Hardcore League that KozyBean thought of. To make the server truly "Hardcore" would mean no DDO store, no shared bank, no auction house, no AS auction house, etc and DDO would make far less money on it so don't see it happening anytime soon but if it does I'll be there.

Ok, that is why in a guild was an option. There will be some people who might not ever play Hardcore again. I'm hoping to hear their voice about the subject.

I liked the hardcore events, I played most including the repeats (both to get the first two seasons I failed before I learned to make my add issues work in a hardcore setting, then to help friends who failed the other seasons or returned even after I'd already gotten the rewards). It was fun, and it is a lovely little bit of nostalgia from when I started first playing ddo in 2009 when no one has anything and everyone is willing to help out for common survival and goals, and meeting new random people and having interesting conversations. It's a fun moment.

That being said, it's never going to overtake the joy of toons I worked on, and long term friendships I have made. There are friends who have been here for me on my private teamspeak server that i made in the guild who went beyond the game when my life fell apart, and that is irreplaceable. No nostalgia event can ever beat that. if there is never another hardcore, despite it having been fun, I really won't care. I think the reason I'm still playing this game so long is the people, not any playstyle or event.
