XP for Quest Suggestion, Optionals worthwhile?!

Simple prop if we have modifiers changed in the future to add optional xp into the base total before modifiers and awarded upon completion. Quest modifiers could be toned down slightly or certain changes made to allow for full dungeon completion to be rewarded in this way and worthwhile.

In short:
1. Enjoying the entire quest and its story will be more rewarding - 300xp opt arent worth the time sometimes BUT if added into the base total before modifiers .... seems like it could have much much more yield this way.
2. Conquest and dungeon clearing would be passively incentivized this way as you run more of the dungeon.
3. Even if experienced players split up to optimize these paths its no different that current strategies of some static groups. You cant fight efficiency for the sake of slowing down the top percentile as it will hinder ALL players. Its ok if someone wants to be hyper effecient if thats how they enjoy the game.
4. Dungeon Alert changes being proposed currently will make it so splitting up and triggering such an alert could be devastating and provides a consideration as to whether a party can handle lower tier alerts by themselves or if it would be better to stick together as an efficient unit. (Tends to happen in pugs that groups of 2-3 run around together in a quest, sometimes you get the odd Completionist or whatever but its no issue)
5. If this change so happens to increase the XP yield of quests THAT IS OK! It is a game and its all about the treadmill, if you optimize one character why not work on an alt if your a higher tier player, if you casual ... well oops a happy by product is you may get to level faster when you have time to play (for some 1-3 Hours a night and some Saturdays for a couple of hours etc).

Happy questing all!

Agreed.

One thing they needed to do is remove the permanent optional objective XP ransack. That's another reason that optional objectives are skipped: you don't get any more XP from them after finishing them enough times. But if they roll them into the final XP total then they won't need that ransack anymore.
