Year 3 of the VIP Loyalty Rewards Track!

If I could get, as a VIP, always first life experience requirements for all past lives...I'd have so many completionists. As it is, I'm never going through all that again. I might slowly work my way through epic PLs on alts, but heroic/racial? Nah.

This whole VIP thing needs a serious re-think. It just feels like these decisions are being made in a vacuum.

They will never give us anything for free which is available in the store and people are actually buying.
Then they'll just buy it there and not pay for VIP lol

Their "fiscal responsibility" mindset makes the whole idea of VIP rewards DOA

Numerous ideas were proposed, by myself included. What you are feeling is the same exact thing people have expressed about feedback from Lamania, the evasive Customer Support, etc. I canceled my VIP after this new VIP reward track came out. Its essentially hundreds of dollars in 1 small pathetic single cosmetic bundle a year, sprinkled in with a bunch of filler items worth about $5-20 in store, most of which are useless. There is more effort put into one-time-purchase Coffers than in the VIP reward track. Just consider where you spend your money.

Some additional thoughts (so I don't just sound cranky and to add something constructive...)
I like the idea of low maintenance options. It's something that many have complained about.

I would rather have persistent benefits (bonuses) that did not require any activation such as XP, discovery, durability, etc...

What if you incentivized the monthly subscription options instead of having to claim stuff every month? Different incentives (that stacked) for 3, 6, and 1 year subscribers that get claimed once and done? This is where you would have some different gift options to collect depending on what tier you bought.

Every blue moon you could also throw out some random bonus to the VIP's that do manage to login (which you do have from time to time).

I may be the only one to say this, but I actually like how the bed looks.

However, I am mostly in agreement with the things said in this thread. 3 pages and counting, and there isn't a single positive comment... I think this really should be taken as a sign. It's clear that your customers feel they deserve better, and I think there is a lot on here that can be improved upon. Please remember, if someone were to subscribe today, it would be 3 full years until they get to see the full benefits of what's on this list. It doesn't really give much to look forward to, does it? If the plan here is to hold out the truly good rewards until, say, the 5 or 6 year mark, then I'll comment that it's a terrible strat to have... people aren't going to want to say subscribed for that long to see how it pans out. I agree that some rethinking should really be done on this VIP reward list thing. Personally, I love the concept of it, but the incentive just isn't there sadly.

Usually a picture is a thousand words, but sometimes half dozen or so is plenty.

I thought that 'finally' there would be a way to boost the number of common collectibles because this year would be the turn of the Common Crafting Material Token. I, apparently unlike the majority of people on the forums, have found the rare and uncommon tokens useful and was looking forward to the common version.
For most of the common collectibles, I have several hundreds, if not thousands of them. But lodestones, they're like hens teeth or rocking horse poo. And when they do appear on the auction house, their price is ridiculous, because sellers know there is a demand that is unsatisfied.
Personally, I have zero interest in cosmetic appearances - I only ever see the back of my toons head and his cloak, so it doesn't matter to me what the front looks like except when I log in...

0 positive feedback to give on this. Nothing about this inspires enthusiasm, joy, curiosity, anticipation...

Hopefully you'll stop this VIP program of fomo, forced claiming and not-vip-friendly implementation eventually and rework it to something actually VIP friendly, as along the lines of Voodus post earlier in the thread. Obviously you've received this feedback before so I'm not hopeful for anything of the sort.

Enjoy these generous gifts for those who still VIP - I unsubbed in protest when year 2 was teased and don't regret it.
