Blightcaster is very good however the SLA's generally do not get through Mantle of Invulnerability so watch out for the liches!

Original idea (horde hunt), glad they shook things up. Great rewards this season with a new footprints option plus two slick looking cloaks. I liked moving away from 5000 favor but not how you might think. For those of us who still were going for 5K, it developed a certain bond, I'd be grouping up with the same people in those off the beaten path less popular (more dangerous) quests. That was fun. Had a fairly thrilling Into the Demon's Den and a terrifying, memorable Epic VON raid. I was once again reminded that I never regret playing a character with high reflex saves. Each HC season I play a class/build that I haven't tried on Live. HC continues to be a highlight of the DDO calender year for me.

First hardcore season I felt like I could actually participate in for real instead of just making a character to grab the "one per server" gear.

Don't trust hirelings. They won't heal you when you need it the most, as I found out just now on 1722 favour on my main. As I got torn to shreds by Griffons.
2 months is just not long enough. Not everyone has 24/7 to play and this was the best I have managed in the short HC seasons. Last one I managed to get to 7th level in 2 months. Work and life getting in the way :(
At least I got to 24 in this and almost got the 1750. Thats playing every spare moment I had and with a really good character
Don't grab level 20 too early - as I did :(
Fun season, and an entire order of magnitude better than the hounds one for sure
Going to really try for 1750 next season and have lvl 20 as a secondary goal.
I did feel though there were way less people playing this season?

Echoing what a lot of others have said, the dragon hoard pieces were a great addition and I miss the hounds. At first look I thought the champs this season were going to be a lot harder than they turned out to be, which was a disappointment.

this season was just ok for me it was a nice twist but got old fast. i really want a season as challenging as the hounds without the bugs they had it was a blast to actually have that fear of dying.

If devs want to recycle stuff then they should do a hounds+mimics in the same event. Maybe throw in some third nastiness too.
