Thorn Bloom

Why the heck am I having big trouble hitting anything with this spell. Do the thorns fire in a spray straight ahead?, or do they spray all around like energy blast?
I thought I was too far away so I got fairly close and targeted a mob and still didn't hit any, or at the most 1 or 2. Anyone have any suggestions? My DC at level 5 is 32 so that shouldnt be the problem.

Thorn Bloom doesn't work properly with Quicken Spell. I believe if you have Quicken Spell enabled globally it will work, but if you have Quicken Spell enabled specifically for the spell (right clicking on Thorn Bloom on your bars) it won't work.

Thank you so much, Ying! I put quicken on global, and turned the spell to standard for quicken and now it works. You would think that it would be documented on wikki or the tooltip, or the bug to be fixed, but apparently not. Thanx again.

I've found that it's also important to be slightly diagonal to mobs. The spell is spectacular once you figure out your placement.
