when is server day reset?

ive done some searching and couldn't find this definitively stated so sorry if it's easily found info i just managed to miss, but what time does the server clock start the new day? is it like midnight utc time, eastern time, something else?

The servers are located in EST time zone, so my guess is that they are on EST time. Not sure if they observe daylight saving time or not.

Additionally, most things that can only happen "once per day" are actually on a rolling cycle. And the number of hours varies. So it won't be tied to a timezone. For instance your daily dice rolls refresh 16 hours after you roll them and the ransack bonuses reduce (and you gain your first run of the day bonus back again) 18 hours after quest completion for any given quest.
