Warlock aura range

Is the warlock aura range wise, about the same as say a clerics healing aura range? Very short?
For the purposes of proccing arcane warrior, only useful on a melee build as opposed to a ranged DPS?

i would only take it on melee, but some ranged take it if they have the defense to be close enough, range is same range as standard aoe iirc

Yeah that's what I figured. Usually if a mob is close enough to my ranged guys I hear the orb failure in WGU in my head "Something has gone horribly wrong!"
