Warlock Pew Pew and Metamagics question

Are the Eldritch blasts impacted in any way for Intensify, Empower, maximize ro Quicken? Or is it just alignment and elements spell power that boosts the blasts.

Why do people take them on a Warlock?

Warlocks do have a few SLAs, and those are affected by metamagics (for free!). As are their normal spells (not for free).

edit: the following is a quick list of SLAs from the warlock trees. Some are CC (quicken, heighten), some are DPS (empower, maximize, intensity, etc).

Some of their normal spells and pact spells are worth meta-magic-ing too (mostly just quicken and heighten), like Web, Soundburst, Tentacles, Mass Hold, etc.

Most importantly the big 5 meta magics feats (Empower, Maximize, Intensify, Quicken & Extend) apply to Ruin and Greater Ruin.
