Every situation where I use Spring Attack succesfully. I think it's the best "normal" Feat in game, along with Evasion, at least for melee-oriented characters that can get it without too heavy cost. Whether it's escaping a nasty cloud spell or a bunch of enemies, or leaping to places where you normally couldn't, or avoiding traps, or surprising enemies -- Spring Attack does the thing.
