Level 12 sorc, lesser tr, when I try to pick warlock I get an error message that name is already taken???? Idk what to do

Unless you are using a lesser heart with a +1,2,3,20 after it, you cannot switch classes. This is not a TR. The +(x) determines how many levels you can change that class as well. So if you are a level 12 sorc, wanting to change into a level 12 warlock, you need a +20 lesser heart.
You can get to 20 and do a true reincarnation and start over with a past life feat however, but you need a heart of wood or heart of blood to do so. Which you can buy or craft from epic tokens.

If you are actually using a +1 or better heart of wood there is another possibility. (Basically the game giving you the wrong error message)
Are you getting the error at the very end of character creation or as soon as you try and click on warlock?
If it is at the end you probably are trying to choose a pact that is not compatible with your alignment. You can't change alignment during a lesser reincarnation so you may need to pick a different one that is compatible.
