Administrator mode

Does anyone know why DDO sometimes starts in admin mode and how to stop it? On my computer it does not do this, but it does on my daughter's. very annoying.

I guess this might work, it seems like a bit of overkill. I haven't used steam in any capicity for DDO on either computer. Mine does not require admin mode and hers does for some reason. I am curious why this is.

May you have default administrator Rights and she has not. Or something in DDO routines tries to writes something where she has no rights to do so .

All mycomputers are installed with portable app with Users' Rights only , that limits damage done to the OS.
