The (long overdue for a fix) bugged interaction of pets with augments & items should be a source of shame.

This thread comes around every month or so.

The answer is this: Ssg will not touch pets and hirelings unless they can do a full thorough overhaul, which they desperately need. They don't bother to fix any smaller things.

Yet for a big pet/hireling overhaul they need to invest time/money and have a way to earn that back. And pets/hirelings are NOT new sellable content.

What i am hoping for is a new summoner archetype. That would give them a good reason to do the overhaul.

I agree with most of what ya said but disagree about pets not being able to sell stuff for. You are forgetting on how so many of us absolutely love our pets. I know I have absolutely fallen in love with the new dark hunter ranger class. I can do traps and have a pet. Which I named after my very own personal pet RubyDoo who knows over 60 tasks.

How much money aka DDO points did you spent on your pets, Zem?

I am running an Arti at the moment and the pet is totally useless cause it is stuck in every corner possible even the round ones. I don't summon it anymore and therefore no need to invest anything.

I think remmie spoke the sad truth.

Cheers,
Titus.
