Are you a free to play player? There is a platinum cap at lower levels and increases as you level up. Or you have reached plat cap which is 4.3 million platinum. These would be the reasons I could think of.

Weird. Are you f2p and what level are the toons. Really without anymore information. I think the only ones to help would be submitting a ticket to customer support.
