the bug with iod shields is they do not have raid dice. the buckler should have 1d6+4 damage, the small 1d6+6, the large 1d10+8, the tower 1d12+10 damage. currently these shields (both raid blanks and quest shields) have 1d6, 1d6, 1d8, and 1d12 damage respectively. The bug with all level 31+ shields (including iod) is they have the wrong shield AC. all large shields should have 27 AC (like level 29 shields) and all tower shields should have 30 AC (like level 29 shields). currently large shields have 20-22 and towers 25. this is a problem because it makes old shields statistically better.

Shields & Armors lack standardization. IMO it' one of the projects/issues the devs should resolve sooner rather than later, cause the work compounds with each release.

Basically almost all modern (2015+) items are all over the place in terms of:
- Shield damage dice & weightedness
- Shield AC
- Shield DR
- Shield crit profiles
- Armor AC
- Armor MDB

Please standardize the curve for all these aspects, and then place all shields/armors on it (with intentional exceptions wherever you see fit obviously).
