Fortification has been reworked to provide a bonus to AC for determining an enemies critical confirmation roll thereby making AC more important.

Weapon damage will now scale with how damaged it is. A weapon with 90% of it's durability left will do 90% damage.

Enemy Healer AI has been improved and will now focus on healing themselves and their allies more frequently rather than attacking.

Druids wild shape ability is now considered an action boost and does not stack with other action boosts.
Example:
Action Boost: Wolf - For 20 seconds you shape shift into a wolf form gaining a 10% action boost bonus to attack speed and a 15% action boost bonus to movement speed. Cooldown 30 seconds.

Adrenaline is now properly considered a rage effect and causes fatigue on expiration.

All mobs at full health now have a 90% damage absorption to reduce one shotting. Additionally all melee class mobs will execute a leap-like movement to the player that first agros them to encourage tactical planning before engaging.

We've now made Monk a paid class again, even if you bought it the first time you will need to buy it again to access your character, to bring it in line with Sacred Fist

In an effort to reduce server resource usage we're shrinking the number of floors and hookpoints in guild airships to speed up load times. We are also pleased to announce additional new exciting service contracts for airships that further combine multiple services into one hookslot for level 90+ guilds.

In order to save users inventory space management woes any equipment that reaches zero durability is simply deleted from character inventory. Your welcome! Also new in the store are durability elixirs that quintuple the base durability of select named items.

With the devaluation of copper, silver, gold, and even platinum... we have come to the conclusion we must sunset this method of paying for services and items. Instead all currency transactions will be handled via gemstones! Extra large gem bags that eliminate weight and storage concerns are now available in the store. Additionally since not all gemstones are made the same their value will fluctuate based upon the character's ability to succeed at haggle checks during every purchase or sale.

We have nerfed backwards movement rate, to provide increased game balance. 😁

In fact, we've nerfed forward movement rate too, to provide increased giggles.😭

  • Corrected a typo on the Epic Destiny feat Wild Force. New description is now
    • While in Druid Wild Shape, you gain some of the aspects of the form you aren't in.
      • While in wolf or winter wolf form, you gain bear form's +10% exceptional bonus to maximum hit points +10% exceptional bonus to AC.
      • While in bear or dire bear form, you gain wolf form's +10% movement speed.
  • The effect of the Epic Destiny feat Wild Force now matches the description.

  • Elminster now has a 50% chance to appear in any quest, giving a helpful speech to aid the adventurers. This lecture lasts 30 seconds per quest level, and must be listened to in order to complete the quest.

Ever tried The Haunted Halls of Eveningstar in the the Commentary Mode ? Ed Greenwood won't shut up even if you Logout ! Need to restart the game to end his speech. :eek:

When your barbarian rages there is a stacking % chance your attacks will inadvertently hit party members as you are to blind with blood lust.
Follow this up with are the end of raging exhaustion now now added helpless as you are to winded to stand up.

These two actually sound like good ideas though lol...this is how the game should increase difficulty and balance the melee/ranged gap...not with arbitrary penalties and indiscriminate nerfs, but with gameplay that forces you to do more than just mash your aoe buttons and hold W

At the risk of sounding biased I think my suggestion remains the best...and most likely to be implemented

I could actually see this as a Hardcore season too if people wouldn't just use it to grief
I'm not kidding with this, I'm seriously afraid they're gonna grab a couple of these ideas. 😒

My hope was if we shame the ideas here first maybe they'll just quietly shelve something they were doing before we find out lol
