epic pact dice / epic eldritch blast feats question

do you get a better bang for your buck with either of these over the other? trying to squeeze epic spell power force in for the extra crit damage with ruin/greater ruin/tentacles/tempest. currently pure sonic enlightened spirit. thanks!

Blast has no save and is d8 (feat maxes 7d8 at 30).
Pact is d6 (feat maxes 7d6 at L32) and save for half (evocation).

Then, consider the damage type, and your blast's spellpower/crit vs sonic.

They are different types of feats though, and don't compete against each other. Only Pact competes against Epic Spell Power.

thanks. the epic spell power feat competes with the pact feat so it looks like I'm going to go that route for the extra crit which should affect all spells not just helping the eldritch stuff.
