Freezing and then not being able to log in

Anyone else having this issue? Recently every few days my character will freeze like it is a major lag spike, but the frame rate doesn't change - stays green. After a while I reboot and then I can't get in to my character as it hangs on the loading screen after I select my toon. If I go to another toon and then come back it has been working but that drops me from any party I happen to be in .

Very frustrating.

Try running with your games audio turned off; turn the game master audio to zero and/or check to see if you have an audio output choice in-game for anything other than OpenAL(some people see a generic audio output as a choice) and see if you keep getting those freezes or not. Some people have had weirdness with the recent OpenAL changes, so worth a check to see if that's the issue.
