The most news I got was from the tiny guild message updates, and I completely lost internet for a long while, and lost a few of the offline friends I used to play DDO with too.

Oof, re-read the thread, missed that one at first read.
Got a bit too glad my connection finally let me see the forums properly and I skimmed messages I really shouldn't have.

This thread is a whole rollercoaster of emotions.

in hospital, had episode this morning.
He's not good, Dave is here with me. Headed home soon.

another update :-
They did cat scan to make sure his brain was okay.
It is and that is really good news.
He will be sedated several days.
Still dealing with heart ans kidney failure. They have to get this fluid out it makes both organs work harder.
He's had this fluid for a time but some came down.
I'm not sure how they can get rid of it. He's on Lasix to remove it.
If he had brain damage, it would be the end..
But he doesn't

I asked: Can he talk

Just noticed the recent updates to this thread. Such terrible news, so distressed to hear about this.

Really hope he can somehow pull through this. All of us are thinking of him and you too, Ozz.

I don't get on forums as often as I would like, and was told in game that you had updated this Ozz. Fervently sending prayers that Haunt will be well and recover from this, he was always such a good person

Todays news from his Mum, god bless her for being so brave :-
Called icu
nurse Saud he started breathing on his own. Still has tube and they are monitoring him.
Fluid doing better today than yesterday.

Today

He's on ventilator. Guess they try daily to take him off.
They did EEG while I was there. Results tomorrow.
Everything else about the same.
Calling in morning about results, will let you know.

Sorry to hear :/. Praying he gets off the ventilator and gets out of there.

Yesterday they did EEG and MRI.
there is moderate brain inflammation but has brain function.
His heart and kidneys are really bad.
Dr's were nice, very truthful.
My hope is pretty shattered.
Hope God gives me strength for this.

had bad night.
Save and I had conference call with
2 of his dr. This morning. His heart is giving out.
Were going up tomorrow. Gonna be a **** day. Pray for me

Just in from his mum and this is gutting, hard for me to concentrate on anything now :-

I took off life support. Hardest thing I have ever done.
I love him so much, and want what's best for him

Makes the heart sink. He spent so much of his energy and health making sure his Dad was taken care of. He deserves a good place when he leaves this one.
