Make curses tradable before application

Now that the deck system has been out and settled down from the initial flurry of interest and we can see how it's working in practice, I think my original suggestion from lama is worth revisiting...

Have assembled decks produce a random unbound Curse Card that carries a stated curse, and can be applied to an item as desired.

This would greatly increase demand for cards and allow an inter player economy for rare curses just like there is for rare filigrees, which I think is a successful model. It'd let you essentially trade curses that aren't useful to you to others who do want them, and be able to get curses you like from others who don't need them

Devs seem to think we like wildly random systems that can take hundreds or thousands of attempts to be good. See: GoMF.
