Hey,
Solo Maze of Madness with jump shortcut (no DD): when you fail and fall down into the "shrine section" (where the shrine is behin a gate), is there any chance getting out there? I tried every lever...without openig a gate in any direction to go on...

To be safe, you can get mikayl, lvl 11 fighter hireling with dimension door dragonmark. You need one to pull the lever anyway. Otherwise, I dont think you can get out.

afaik no, using the jump shortcut does put you at risk of falling into a no escape scenario.

Despite this, I still love this and hope it remains. Using the terrain and player skill in navigating 3d space (given the hatred many have of jumping puzzles, yes, I do consider being able to make precise jumps a skillful act) to do something risky yet rewarding if pulled off is something that I LOVE to see and attempt in games. And yes, the risk part is a necessary part of the equation imo, not just the reward part.
