Was there a nerf to the number of monsters that spawn in The Orchard?

That was the place to go if you had a slayer pot.
The number of spawns out there was amazing ... now they are fewer than the spawns in The King's Forest.

Did you have a full party for it? If not then that would explain the low spawns.

It was nerfed several years ago from its crazy (amazing) spawn rate! In its current form it is still one of the best xp per min spots pre legendary. But Stoner81 is correct, you want to get to 5 man scaling and have as big of slayer pot as you can.

Actually, the original rendition of Kings Forest was massive groups similar to orchard. but folks complained and it got nerfed!

I don't know; this feels new. I was just out there about three months ago with a cleric, and the spawn/slayer rate was normal.
