Siberys Dragonshards downgrade?

I usually do not use dragonshards for feat swap or I have more than I need.
Fragments can be used for arrows/bolts/runestones/grenades/traps/rituals.
They are rarely on Auction House and I see people asking for them on general chat.
Is there a way to downgrade Siberys Dragonshards into fragments?

I am also interested if this is possible. Just from an "I didn't know you could do that!" perspective.

I have never seen anything, anywhere that would do this. But after many years, I still occasionally learn new things.

So while I could not say for sure that you cant. I really don't believe you can.

And I think that might be the best answer you will get from anyone. If someone knows how to do something, they will usually post. If no one knows for sure, people are hesitant to speak up.

Ask around if you need some Sibery's Shards. I have so many they just take up space. I am sure there are people on your server that wouldn't mind sharing if you can find anyone that doesn't simply throw them away.
