It's not that, any new ability puts 2HF to shame. What 2HF stood for is now granted for other build.

SWF with AoE DPS strikethrough (two handed specialty + bastard sword). No problem now, 2HF surely didn't get any damage boosts and SWF was already king there.

Ranged now with AoE DPS too? Again, 2HF didn't get anything extra, and 2HF was already dwarfed by ranged DPS.

According to this thread, Bears are the new insanely-broken melee due to (yet again) an attack speed bug.
