Weapon Glamering

Hi everyone! Not sure how weapon glamours' requirements work, would appreciate if someone explained it to me.
Is it just single weapon/off-hand/two-handed kind of requirements or are the restrictions stricter? i.e. heavy mace glamour can only be used with heavy maces in your main-hand, orbs with an orb in your off-hand, etc.

Whoever had the same question: "The weapon cosmetic is only displayed on your character when you are wielding a weapon with the same combat style. The current combat styles are one-handed, two-handed, quarterstaff, great axe, crossbow, repeating crossbow, bow, rune arm, orb, and shield-only. "
