Why I Collect OG Dungeons and Dragons Books

OG? Original? Oldschool?
I don't collect them, I have them because I started playing in 1980. I still have my original boxed set and everything else I have purchased since... Stacks of books, thousands of miniatures, terrain, accessories. Maybe it's time to downsize a bit.

I wonder whatever happened to mine? I gave them away in the 90s with allot Dragon magazines and minatures.

A buddy of mine came accross one of his old DnD books in a local thrift shop, but he didn't buy. It was all worn out, but he said it made him feel good that someone else enjoyed. It was new-ish when he donated a decade before.

Thanks for sharing the video. Those images bring back memories.
I kept all my books, miniatures and dice (oh, so many dice). Started with the original basic box set in the late 70's.
They are stored in an old looking steamer trunk. Can't tell you the number of hours spend painting miniatures. Good times.
