Have you tried the new Elemental Form feat at 31 yet? +3 Caster/Max levels Air better than +20 Spellpower?

Edit: Its +20 SP and 2% crit chance as well.

I dont know about you but I definitely cast Stormrage storm of vengeance and Call lightning storm so it has *some* benefit.

I tested stormrage and it does minimal damage compared to dragonbreath output or ice flowers (and I don't have any level 8 spell slots available after chosing ice flowers, earthquake, heal, sunburst, finger of death).

I use call lightning storm only to proc 1000 temporary hit points: it does some damage but it didn't really make any difference at R10 difficulty when I maxed it.

Anyway "Level 31: epic spell power electricity (destiny feat)":
+20 Spell Power of the selected type.
+10% spell critical damage with the selected type.
+5% universal types of spell critical damage.

versus "Elemental Form Specialty":
+3 caster levels with those elements, +3 to max caster level with those elements, +20 to spellpower of those elements, +2% spell critical chance with those elements (no force spells, no healing spells).

If you care about electricity spells then epic spell power electricity is still an option and you give +5% spell critical damage to all spells on top of that.

You might want to read the spell description, in particular the part that says you gain the deflect arrows feat.

After going "... Oh crap!" Ask yourself if you really need sunburst spell and SLA.

I don't know how close my druid is to this build (reading is hard) but I love my cold druid. I am surprised there aren't more druid casters running around. Everyone wants to be a wolf.

As an undead instakilling spell that works on r10s depends if you run heavy undead content like rls every day or not

I'm not gonna cast stormrage every 18 seconds just for deflecting 1 arrow every 6 seconds ...
In the past, you've been willing to try different things that you didn't fully understand and have made changes based on suggestions. My apologies if that's changed.

For anyone else reading this thread (and the one on the old forums which also had a lot of great info in it). Stormrage is cast before you go into an area where you know archers are. On r10, they can hit very hard and if you can avoid 2x hits, it'll very likely save your life.

I agree that storm of vengeance has questionable value in r10 beyond snapshotting things like salt and affirmation where you're creating a kill zone (mind you, i never mentioned storm of vengeance)

2. Hes simply saying that he doesnt feel like remembering another button to press he didnt say its bad he just doesnt bother...
and I mean Just dodge archer arrows.... sure deflect arrows is nice to deactivate ya brain but like Just dodge....

I was just trying to find a polite way of telling him he's not playing the build to it's full potential by not using stormrage.
I have to remember who i'm posting to on these boards.... 1x button is a significant challenge for many people.

dude please go to ddovault and write what u actually wanna say.... this is watered down by so many levels of what u actually wanna say cuz forum regulation/be nice rules ---->So Just dont say it cuz it makes u sound even more of an ...... than if u were to write the uncensored version . beside deflect arrows isnt spell absorb.... Like just dodge the arrows and gid gud or Use your stormrage thingy idc and get hit by the 2nd or third arrow and die anyway . Im not using Bow to its full potential either cuz guess what I dont tumble every 12 seconds like a madman.... its nice to have/remember but lawd Im not gonna tumble every single time I can and same goes for stormrage

seems more of a skill issue and lack of "im not gonna press this button every 2 seconds unless i get a macro" understanding

I will test Stormrage damage again once I reach level 32 with my new build that max electric element:

By the way it's really disappointing that the only metamagic that can be applied is quicken spell.
Anyone has information about its damage and DC? (I only remember the old description saying 10d20 with a fixed 50 DC).

Even if i could add more metas, quicken is likely the only one i would load on that spell.

Consider snap shotting it to salt or affirmation as well for added bonus.

it does not deflect 3x arrows.
On wiki deflect arrow feat deflects 1 arrow every 6 seconds.

Maybe it could be useful to proc faster the vulnerability debuff stacks (I have sparkhorn on the bone quarterstaff)

I have just two ítems from Hruits influencer set. I’m missing gloves or what are you gearing instead of gloves? Another thing I’m asking myself: How can u craft the gem of many facets with cold spell power and insightful?
