Anybody know what attack bonus raid bosses actually have? You should be able to calculate it from the formula based on observed miss % and your AC, as long as miss % >> 5%.
I get it, dwarves come up short once again . . .Lame to see that shifter magic fang works on shields too ??. It already makes shifter have the best racial tree Att/Dam with just about any weapon, but extra lame that it also makes them the best AC race over say…. Dwarves that have 3 different enhancements devoted to AC (I am assuming you checked that possibility, and am absolutely biased though)
Every boss has a different to hit. For example, Lord of Blades probably hits me between 5-10% of the time and then I can go into Hunt or be Hunted and the first boss is doubled that (between 10-20%); some are even more weird, for example the orthons melee hits in vod have an insane to hit, but then when you fight suulo he's basically the same as LoB. Keep in mind this build also has 33% dodge so it can hurt and help the AC the build is working with.Anybody know what attack bonus raid bosses actually have? Not sure what you mean by that. It has always been if your spell pen > the spell resistance on the target you are casting it on, it lands. Pretty stupid for a buff spell, but alas.I checked it out on my cleric and Holy Aura is WAI awesome!
Feeling inspired by Teth's post (and now knowing it should be possible), I put together a build using DDOBuilder. Supposedly it reaches an AC of 1079 and is still missing several items on Teth's list. I just don't know how to add them in TBH. Specifically, I think this build is still missing
Never used the builder, but trust me, when I found every source of AC (barring using inquis diplo to build stacks, but thats counterintuitive to a tank). Multiple sources of artifact % bonus do not stack, so highest % bonus you can get on a non-bear is 63% (15 set, 15 destiny, 10 combat expertise, 15 filigree, 5 armor, 3 curse). A bear could in theory have 10% more ac from its tier 5 and perfect natural fighting - 10 from combat expertise, but thats in no way worth it losing all the bonuses from other enhancements/pally.I think the number is a bit off as according to the bonus types Eminence of Winter should not stack with Set Augment: Paragon Guard as they both provide 15% Artifact Bonus. The builder seems to list Paragon as Stacking bonus type, so maybe I'm wrong. I can't find any information about it.
In that case we can still go higher with this build (if Paragon does stack we could also equip Siren's Ward or Kundarak's Ward):

Things to note:
This is in no way an actual build. Things were thrown together randomly to reach the necessary feats, enhancements etc.
Gear could be switched around and still get set bonuses, the level split could be different, you could get the dex from reaper or completionist by using pots or specific items instead.
As mentioned some of the buffs cannot be used in DDO builder:
32 - Epic Mage Armor (Macrotechnic mage armor? - Enchant Armor (not sure how this would calculcate in with all the bonuses)? - Magic Fang (not sure how this would calculcate in with all the bonuses)5% - Double Grandfather's Shield Set (Unless fixed Filigree sets stack when one is in weapon and the other in artifact)Temporary buffs:

Also I've never played inquisitor, so I don't actually know how easy it is to keep up 5 stacks of Observation?

I'm sure this isn't the limit either as there are probably buffs that I don't know about or different splits that could squeeze out even more. The number here is of course also dependent on everything having correct values in DDO Builder and everything stacking in-game the same way it does in the tool.

As far as how the enchanting works, you basically look at the base AC your armor or shield provides, then add any extra enhancement bonuses that will boost said armor/shield, then you scale final number by how much % shield or armor boost you have, then after all that is done you scale that number by how much overall % ac boost you have for the actual amount of armor class provided.
AC rounds up on the sheet, but whether or not it’s an actual round number is impossible to tell. It could be like most stuff where it rounds up on the sheet but is actually one lower, for example 100% doublestrike in most cases is actually only 99% cause of hidden rounding.Cool. Based on that it seems the builder isn't doing it right at all. To be honest I'm not really sure how it's doing it as it puts the value of the Armor/Shield Boost alone at 141/136 which is way over the top. Wish there was a breakdown of it so I could see what's going on there.
I've put everything into a spreadsheet instead to do the proper calculations. Do you know how the game deals with decimals when scaling with the %?
With the armour having base stats + enhancements at 49, that gives us a modified AC of 122.5. Is that rounded up to 123?
It if does round does it always round up, always down or just a normal round?
From that I gather the theoretical maximum AC possible right now is 1068 (1069 if it rounds).
After todays patch that should increase to 1076 (1077 if it rounds up) due to the new +5 buff from Exalted Angel.
One caveat: This is assuming that Divine Augmentation actually benefits the Shifter version of Magic Fang. If it doesn't then subtract 4-5 AC.
Also I'm assuming that Core 2 in Renegade Mastermaker doesn't actually stack with Tenser's since it's an Alchemical bonus, but maybe I'm wrong since it comes from an enhancement and those things usually stack?

Magic fang is not boosted by divine augmentation and the core 2 in master maker does not stack with tensers.

Impressive work. Would you be willing to share the gear setup that you use? I have tried to recreate much of what you have here but can't find a way to squeeze in the duskbone ring without sacrificing a different important artifact/profane set bonus. This is the best I could come up with, Im definitely missing some stuff, but its just a best guestimate:
