Sadly, updating pets, summons and hirelings to be helpful would cost SSG resources, and in their limited scope bring them no immediate cash inflow.
This is why alchemist, Dragon Lord and anything newer is extremely OP. They are shortsighted, and only want that cash influx. They are not going to waste their time balancing the game. Unless, its to nerf us to sell us future OP classes.
