What would you pair pestle with then?

Using it requires you to take improved crit smash... Ignition from the same raid is bonkers, but unsure if that is even a good pairing. I would like to use pestle for sure at some point.

Pestle + Dino warhammer leverages a paladin/dragon lord splash very well and is what I would personally use. Ignition isn't really in the same category since you're down an entire multiplier compared to warhammers, and have to burn two additional feats for permission to wield it optimally, both exotic proficiency and IC: slashing.

Well, you dont have to burn a feat if you are a pdk pally, since you get bsword feat for free.

edit: i can just craft a dino warhammer...
