Yes! But one can hope that it is just missing from the release notes, it's not like that isn't a common occurrence.

To my knowledge, ladders is still a case-by-case fix, but they're easy fixes and /loc locations are useful in bug reports to address them. Is that still accurate?

well that is quite wrong.
I didn't moved to any servers (can't and don't want to spend again any AS for my guild and airship)
BUT
From how long we asked for a server merge?
I think that with a bit of will and money (that we give do pass them from time to time it seems) they could handle it.
Tonquin has made more for us than whad SSG did in a long time (in terms of bugfixing) so it's just a matter of will and time to fix.
There is no excuse, nothing is unfixable or impossible as sometimes someone in the upper shperes tells us.

I've tried logging in multiple times over the last 3 hours but it can't connect to the patch servers. Hopefully this is just a communication issue and they started maintenance early (one can hope but I'm not holding my breath)
