It isn't clear to me what you are talking about. The downtime and uptime announcement was in the game launcher in addition to the web site, forums, and social media.

I must admit I don't recall seeing it in the launcher (but I don't look there often) and it is not there now. I don't recall things expiring out of the launcher that quickly so is there a chance it failed to get displayed there?

But it was here in the forums so I will give you full credit Cordo. Thanks.
