New Locked Chest Symbol

Which Dev just figured out that he or she can put symbols above items, and is going crazy with it!
Why are you trying to turn this game into a cartoon version of itself!
If we wanted cartoons we'd be playing WoW!

Totally not needed, and looks almost as bad as the new Spot Check symbols over the heads of Characters.

I just saw locks the other day and LOVE IT. No longer do I have teammates standing around the chest going Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Another great quality of life feature. I understand people don't like it, but it has been a life saver for me and a massive source of xp since I don't accidentally bypass traps that could be disarmed for ingenious or whatever (10/20/30%).

I am indifferent on it. Neither hate it nor love it. It would seem SSG is moving the game to appeal to a broader demographic. For the ones that never drank hose water.

I don't really like it, but I get the idea. Again, this should be a toggle in game to display this or not (or maybe have it display for only magical locked chests that cannot be picked?)

My only qualms about the new graphics is they're mandatory.
I absolutely LOVE those (the sounds in trapperrific quests get a *bit* much - yes, looking at YOU, Labyrinth of Madness), but I understand not everyone should be forced to enjoy the things I do.

PLEASE give us an Options setting to get rid of these annoying distractions. I feel like the Grinch looking at some of these "features" saying "Hate, hate, hate, double hate..."

ONCE AGAIN, Please put in a toggle for this, so we can turn it OFF if we want. It really makes this game, look childish.

Whomsoever is making these changes without adding an on/off toggle, you're doing it wrong.

Well, that locked chest symbol is not really annoying, it is not over your head and does not make any sound, or does it? And it sure not gonna keep me from clicking on that chest anyways, cause that's just a habbit from me to click everything

Oh my word. What in the 666 layers of the Abyss did SSG do. I logged in after a month absence and it is like I am playing Hello Kitty online with all these cartoon symbols and sounds! Could we have an option to turn off the 'non-requested' feature for us 'older' folks who want our old D&D back

Thank you SSG, it is good to add new and fresh features, but not go overboard please. I do not want to start hearing 'I am low on HP' or 'blue kobold needs food badly' coming out of my speakers during gameplay

I can't understand the "why" behind the locked icon.
Was it really that big of an issue to just walk up and check?

I haven't saw it yet, don't know if I havaing and issue or what, but neither of the locked chest I have crossed had an icon above it...

I cannot say I really care for the icon design of the Locked Chest. However, at least the floating "padlock symbol" is tied to an inanimate object. Actually I am surprised they haven't created a similar icon for locked doors. >;-)

In contrast the new [U59] Looney tune (Exclamation point [!]) detect a trap audio-visual feature is very intrusive, offensive and is tied to a specific model, typically operated by a player. The [!] (overhead icon) the looks more like a classification symbolism of vilification. The type used in propaganda by the National Socialist German Workers' Party during the Great War. That [!] covers the screen blinding your vision and continually spamming that idiot pointless noise when you move around.

The problem is not that this exist, the problem is that you can't disable it.
For me at least the only annoying thing is to hear the alert from other players, if you are going in a group, you hear it 5 times and in some quest that can happen A LOT, so there should be an option to only hear yours hear everyone or don't hear it at all.
