I want the teleport to the Feywild and that gold seal level 5 hire.

I would just like the Feywild / Saltmarsh teleport items to work properly. Both pop up a list that include the Ravenloft locations, but when I select one it says "You do not own that content". News flash, I am in the Ravenloft wilderness - how can I not own it???

Yeah, not sure why they don't just show the options that actually work. That would save people time by eliminating misclicks.

Because you didnt buy the upgraded pack, this is why it would be great if they offered all teleports as a choice for everyone that already owns all the content. Cost them nothing because they were never going to get any extra money for those anyways. Most people i know have only one teleport location so that they can get back to the guild ship faster.

year of dragon gifts are wonderful in my opinion.
if u had all the packs a better idea for a neat gift could have been done i suppose but not including the newest one is also fine.

for those with all the pacs offering a gold seal Xpac hire from any pack (like a mini useful upgrade) would have been something preferable and fun.
have not used my stashed discovery's yet to really see what i could loot in that time with one..(i dont mind farming it brings me back...)

Exactly THIS. I have not spent as much money as some or even most. But I would estimate between $1k and $2k since starting in 2009.

The direction in quest and raid design, choices about game balance and changes to this game forced me to make a decision for my mental health.

Either to quit playing or stop paying.

I chose the latter sometime between Feywild and Saltmarsh which helped to mitigate the aggravation and tendency to antagonistically post.

I did sign the EULA after all /shrug.

Despite the recent ED nerfs/balance w/e I have been REALLY enjoying playing lately so relaxed my mental hard line and planned to pre-purchase Myth Drannor.

It's NOT about "getting something for free and complaining the free thing isn't good enough"

It may have been UNREALISTIC to expect a 2k point pack that was released more than 6 months ago to be included in the Curate Your Xpac.

If it was still ONLY available for CASH then I would not have questioned or even considered the fact that it was excluded.

Every update or choice made by the management has consequences in the minds of the customer.

Turbine/SSG LOST me as a paying customer a while back and missed an opportunity to get me back.

The potion of discovery can just sit in the inventory of one of my mule characters already holding a BUNCH of those and similar 'valuable potions' I never get around to using. Even if your looking for a particular named item, it is only a 10% improvement and only for an hour (1-2 dungeons at most) so this valuable potion might do exactly ZERO ... wait, wait let me be correct. Statistically, the potion is VERY likely to NOT get you that named item. Your odds are way better to just spend AD to do a reroll or 2.

1 hour buff, giving you time for diddly squat and almost always getting absolutely nothing out of it.

Not to mention, even if you DO get something, it's probably not the item you want to get. lol.

People are allowed to be disappointed in things and handle mental health issues without extreme reactions like rage quitting.

Sometimes small adjustments make all the difference.

Could be worse. I only recently bought the much more expensive Isle of Dread which is included. I had no idea they would be giving away a free expansion, especially since even the relatively old Feywild has not yet made it down to 99 points. The feeling that you bought at the wrong time, just before a sale, is a real thing, but the solution is actually the opposite of what you are doing. Instead of refusing to pre-order, preordering is exactly what you should do. Then you will get maximum time to use the product and will not have bought it anywhere near the time of the first sale.

April year of the Dragon reward feels "phoned in" with the exclusion of Vecna.

I WAS planning to pre-purchase Myth Drannor DESPITE my dissatisfaction with over-all game direction.

I'll wait and get with points at some later date and continue enjoying the parts of DDO I still enjoy.

SSG lost me as paying customer years ago (Feywild was last Pre-Purchase I did).

Y'all failed to win me back once again.

I dont care about vecna not been included (already own vecna). But as a Player who has bought all the expansions I feel cheated. I get a "crap-tastic" Elixir of discovery (We agree on that) when others (even ftp players) will get a gift that really worths something (money or DDO points). I would at least expect SSG to give to those who already have the expansions a gift of equal value. I am very disapointed that I am not appreciated by SSG as a player who has supported DDO by buying all the expansions and more.

I purchased the top tier of every expansion for cash, and enjoy the content. The YotD give-away is a generous gift, and are very helpful for my secondary accounts.

However, the free gift is much less generous to those of us who support the game financially.

From the reviews Vecna got, maybe it should be free in general.

I don't think Vecna is worth the asking price and maybe it is worth one "elixir of depressing results" or whatever they call it that they are offering people who own all the other expansions.

Because people who have paid $1000 for expansions don’t get a reward that is “the equivalent of like 40 bucks.” SSG doesn’t reward loyalty.

This is the proof that people can get something for completely free and still complain. There don't need to be any special year of the anything reward. There are normally no such kind of reward. They are trying to be nice and give you something. ... I don't get it. How can somebody be angry about something that is offered them for free?? I don't want to be rude, I just want to understand.... what people are annoyed with is the continued slight that they show to reward the loyalty of the long time VIP and players that buy all the packs. A one hour potion is essentially a turd.
