Two Handed Weapons and Set Bonuses

Two handed weapons: Consider them counting as two items for the purposes of determining set bonuses. Builds that use main/offhand have an advantage over THF for this reason and the ability to slot a secondary debuff option like Vuln, Ooze on their offhand. TWF and SWF w/ orb setups can slot a 5pc, 3pc, 3pc and a 3pc set bonus while THF has one less 3pc set bonus potential because it's limited to 13 items.

Yes, please. This would be very welcome, and balance the set stuff a lot better between styles.

To be fair. THF also gains huge amount of base dmg from PA, past life and main stat, indirectly that would be all weapon strikes and adrenalines.

so... in general terms (and there are exceptions).
THF better vs trash and short fights.
TWF/SWF better vs long drawn fights. (very few of those)

edit: I only like THF and Wraps due to animations and the flow of it.

I think that's kinda the point though... 1H weapons have the advantage of the second slot, but give up aoe on every hit, 3.5x stat to dmg, huge W dice, better synergy with Adren/WWA/etc.

Just on the simple concept of being able to swap between playstyles without having redo gear tetris completely to get back set bonuses would make it a great QoL change for both melees and casters.
