How is the feydark tier 5 performing in game now
Ring of shadowblades is nice at R1 difficulty during the heroic/epic level up process: I cast it to get the spell power bonus and to kite melee mobs through it while I spam them with cone shape eldritch blast.

Fan of shadowblades is a SLA to cast after dragon breath: before the nerf nothing survived dragon breath at epic level R1 difficulty, soon I'll test if mobs will survive after nerfed dragon breath and if it's necessary a fan of shadowblades cast to finish them off.

I get all past lives with this build (I'm getting the second dragon lord life right now with this build).

I never used it.

I read that it scales with the higher of Melee or Ranged power and it doesn't accept metamagic.

No hard cap on it to start and its boosting melee power and spell power and its free

172k + crits possible now with it maybe higher potential as cap goes up in 3 months combod with fan of knives and shadow blades and ruins

maybe 172k for someone that has melee/ranged power: I don't read that it's affected by spell power.

With this warlock build I try to raise as much spell power as possible for eldritch blasts to kill fast: grandmaster of flowers destiny tree doesn't help eldritch blast.

do you have the chance to test "Strike a Chord" fatesinger epic strike with double damage got from "Master the Acoustics"?

Master the Acoustics: : 5/10/15 Sonic Spell Power. Rank 3: The damage of the spells Sonic Blast & Reverberate are increased by 50%. The sonic damage of your Epic Strikes from this tree is Doubled.

of course, I'm level 15 now, as soon as I hit level 20 I write the results in this thread (comparison between dragon breath and orchid blossom).

I wonder if it's affected by critical chance (kinetic lore).

Fire spell power 831 at level 32 with heroic equipment.


(Combat): You hit Blood Tide Skulker for 15,986 points of force damage.
(Combat): Spell Crit! Your Orchid Blossom has greater effect!
(Combat): You hit Blood Tide Skulker for 40,895 points of force damage.
(Combat): Spell Crit! Your Orchid Blossom has greater effect!
(Combat): You hit Zombie Pirate for 83,521 points of force damage.

Force spell power 897 at level 32 with heroic equipment and 45% force spell critical chance.

These tests have been done in The Black Loch EE quest.

I think that there is definitely something wrong and orchid blossom should be balanced like dragon breath in the last update.

I use this epic strike, with base 850 sonic SP and all metamatics turned on, getting around 13,000 sonic damage per cast.
For a 3 second single-target cooldown that's ok.

Echoes of Discord (3 stacks) does around 25,000 on a crit to all enemies in the area.
