Level 1 Gear - Best Set?

I was thinking the 7 pc. Saltmarsh set as the best out there. Any other suggestions?
Saltmarsh is level 3 though and only goes as high as 5 piece.

I go with Necklace of concentration, abbot quiver, trinket is amulet of spell absorption (20sr is op at levels 1-2), old 10% melee alacrity ring, CC true seeing goggles of persuation with masters gift and clearwater diamond (rip), CC fearsome hide armor of invulnerability with light fortification aug, and +3 mythic gear of whatever from borderlands. I got boots, rings and cloak, working on bracers/helmet when treasure boost weekend is on.

Solid.
For level 2 I have ditto on the Goggles but w/o Slot. Same armor but a robe. High Steps with Master's Gift @ 1 , +3 Mythic Bullwark Helm, +3 Mythic Granite Grippers, Runic Trinket, 10% Melee Alacrity Ring, 75% Fort Ring, Crafted Spellsight and Spell Saves on Necklace, +4 Mythic Pillar of Light (Sometimes 2 Keep Scepters or 1 Keep Scepter and Nicked Orb). Jump and Shield Clickies.

For 3rd I add Bracers of the Wind and Fire Resist Cloak with Electric Absorb

@ 4th Crafted Constitution of False Life.

Level 5, 5 pc Chrono and 6 or 7 pc Feywild of w/e flavor. Swap out some Feywild with Red Fens depending on build.

Weapons are w/e usually. I have exactly what I need (not necessarily what I want) for any build I play for leveling.

My level 1 gearset is a level 2 gearset because level 1 doesn't matter.
My "best" level 2 gearset looks something like this:
Jump Potions, Bull Str Potions (or whatever stat I use to damage), for one quest a bear's endurance potion is useful,
Necklace of contemplation, any item with an augment slot for master's gift, quiver of alacrity.
If non-caster deadly cannith crafted item and any ghost-touch weapon, if caster robe of duality and any spellpower weapon.
Boarderlands make good enough weapons for both caster and non-caster.

I have a slew of level 1 Vorpal weapons, especially glad I have a repeater because I just love Artis too much.
That's my level 1-10 weapon, usually.

Vorpals are the best early weapons, not due to Vorpal hits, but due to the extra .5W die. Low level mobs have very few hp's and that .5W makes most mobs meat after two or three hits.

To be brutally frank, who cares? Does anyone really spend enough time at level 1-3 to put together a "best" gear set? You can wear rangen and still do fine at that level.
Bro, you're embarrassing yourself. You probably don't even have mythic/reaper bonuses on your level 1 gearset. Smh

Never had trouble with blindness in Khortos/borderlands/Harbour so my true sight gogs with the master's gift have underwater action on em. It's pointless since there's a free underwater breathing ring in the chest of the grotto, but i kinda just skip that.
I started the game with an 8 str elf cleric in full plate, shield and a caster stick... I have bad memories from the few underwater sections in early game.

I also crafted a robe with invulnerability and fearsome and use that on any new life.
The rest is just random borderlands blues with mithyc on em and a spear bane.

Honestly... min lv 1...

Just get a cannith crafted weapon of preferred choice with 2 augment slots in it... and go to town.

If you REALLY want to waste time making gear for a level youll be out of faster than I can type this up.

You can get great low level (even lvl 1) clickies for plat from the clothing vendor in Three Fingers Thad in guild ship. It is a guild lvl 10 amenity. I have items like 3 shield clickies, jump clicky, heroism clicky, ability clickies, invis clickies, and more. These can really help a toon at low level when you don't have lots of past lives. The inventory restocks every five minutes that someone is not on ship. Ask your guild leader to help if Three Fingers isn't loaded on the ship as it is easy to add.

i think i have a +1 Vorpal handaxe somewhere in the bank from way back in the day (2006), when smiters/disruptors/banishers/banes were a thing. Ill clean off the cobwebs and use that baby.
