Solution is apparently layered debuffs but I barely raid so I don't have much at my disposal.

Ellisaria's previous post made me think about all the people I'm seeing running around in the Ancient Lich cosmetic set on Thelanis. It really reminds me of Mumra so much, especially with those waving tendrils. To judge by Thelanis the Ultimate Bundle has been very popular for that cosmetic set and mount if nothing else.
