I will be organizing raid nights for ORIEN Server.

DISCLAIMER: This is a *TEACHING* Raid. It will go MUCH slower than a standard Zerg raid. Please be fore-warned before signing up.

I would love to join! I am available most weekdays after 5 pm EST (not Mondays) and most of the day on Saturday. It is unclear which raids are included, so I will be broad:

I can lead: TS, VoN, VoD, HoX, ADQ, Reaver's Fate, Fall of Truth, Ascension Chamber, Titan, Shroud, ToD, Chronoscope, MA, LoB, D&D, KT and FoM.

I am familiar with but probably not the best leader for: Mark of Death, PN, Riding the Storm Out, Caught in the Web, Fire on Thunder Peaks, THTH

And I have no clue what to do: Strahd, Defiler of the Just, Temple of the Deathwyrm

Willing to run anything. Currently main is a stormsinger bard leveling in epics, can sit around at cap if this is a real thing, and I am not falling for a trick.

You have no idea how invaluable you are to all this.

Although, I tend not to play on the busier servers like Orien, after I come home tonight I will roll one on Orien and get her to cap.

If you want me and group willing, I will go ahead and purhase Vecna in order to run FoM.

I figure if no other server is willing to teach raiding I can at least glean some tutelage from you, Sheikra, and pass it along to my home servers and others.

And that is what is probably going to happen. One server with 12 dedicated unique players who'll learn everything and then go back to their home servers to pass on the knowledge.

Anyway, I'll update this when I get back home and I'll start rustling the trees to fill this raid up on Orien (as well as buy Vecna and get a character to cap).

I assure you I'm not. Being very serious.

In fact, I have already purchased Vecna since I think you are being genuine as well.

And I may end up moving to Orien for the time being. Character transfers are waaaay too costly.

If there is a particular build or class you think is most useful in raiding, please say so, otherwise I will be rolling a ranged character.

+1 interested, he is in my guild on Orien -- no forum account yet and encountering some issues signing up. He has basically done no legendary raids, only a few of the heroic ones. Ingame names: Ryppyr, Paynkyllyr, and Lyorah, he said he was going to make the forum name "DDODad".

Availability: Mon-Sun 6pm est thru 1am est.

Oh boy, Orien is actually catching fire fast. This may actually get off the ground (against my expectations and previous assumptions... we'll see, still a hande this can get scuttled).

I say we aim for back-to-back Tuesday/Wednesday Nights and a possible Saturday. As this will give us twice the reset periods and twice the learning opportunities.

OK looks like Tuesday and/or Wednesday after 5:30 PM Eastern + a Saturday (at some point of everyone's convenience).

My situation: Due to my belief of this enterprise's now 80%+ chance of success I have dug up one of my very old accounts and will be playing a very old character. I am not sure if I want to reveal said character name publicly as it's an extremely recognizable old school Baldur's Gate name with the correct spelling. Hmmm.. will private message the name to participants as of now we'll just go with "Mo".

I'm definitely game for some teaching raids. I have a 22 Wizard with a bunch of PL's at the moment but happy to repurpose to whatever is needed. Will have to go to 30 to do that as she's a Morninglord at this point.

Hey, I'm willing to Otto myself to cap at this rate ... just so I can get some raid training.

Think about that for a second. Just think. And also just think about how NOT feasible that is for the vast majority of new players.
