I feel like they shoulda planned an expansion this year for Tiamat and all the spawn. You can read descriptions of them here https://dungeonsdragons.fandom.com/wiki/Draconic_creature . I mean that woulda been a freakin great way to do year of the dragon, with an expansion based on a dragon god

Carrionette is what you get when you let Haywire run a toy factory.

Because a quest full of only Carrionette would be boring. It needs more monsters that fit together in the setting.

Ettin, because they live in Icewind Dale. Intellect devourer is neat as well. Anything but a carrionette (I didn't even know those things existed).
