Hello there,

since the game has changed a lot, my build needed a facelift to keep up with it. I wanted to turn this build to be able to solo r8 quests.
The old split was 17 Arti 2 Fighter 1 Wizard. The Wiz level lost its purpose, so I replaced it with a Warlock level and gained some improvements. Also dropped a Ftr level (took the Dragon Lord archetype) and went for a 18/1/1 split. Furthermore I re-equipped it with brand new gear and Filigree sets.
U60 turned this build into something even stronger. The Machrotechnic tree enabled the usage of Tactical Detonation as a melee, which was an old dream of mine.
Special thx to @Griglok (Karatemack) and his guildies who helped me to optimise the end result!

Some info to understand the build
This is a very self-sufficient, versatile and tenacious build. If you prefer a more detailed and rich melee playstyle, this build is for YOU!
Clear trash along the way, tank rednames, bosses or even Dooms.
You can be the party trapper, party buffer, social skills provider. Can sneak like a Rogue. Got excellent self heal ability.
This build can solo well up to R7. R8+ it performes best in a small group or a full party.

Tip:

The Vistani ROBOT can cover multiply roles (tank, trapper melee dps), therefore ideal for 2-4 man static TR groups.
Also ideal if you have a crafter alt, but would like to turn it into something more useful.


How to level:
From level 1 till level 14 go as a Repeater X-bow build. It is super strong even if you dont have ranged feats at all. Use the Battle Enginier tree for Fusilade and all the goodies there.
At level 15 switch to Melee mode. Redo the Enhancement trees. Drop BE and put points into Renegade Mastermaker and Vistani.

How to play:
You are the 1st wave in the party. Dash into a room and intimidate. Throw a Tactical Detonation, use Dire Charge to controll your enviroment. Engage mobs so fellow party members can do their things and wont die.
Meanwhile tanking, DPS everything with Cleave attacks, use mini AoE stun.


I found this awesome build in 2020 and 've been playing and improving it since.

I dont use it actively. Only need it to get acces to Cleave and Greater Cleave feats.

Aaaand beat me to it :)

Power attack and SWF are compatible together. It's needed to pickup cleaves.
SWF can't be taken on a character with THF feats (not sure if that's what you're thinking).

I'm interested if this toon runs into any to-hit issues at endgame without precision.

I have 150 to-hit at cap. I don't remember seeing any "Miss' above my head....
I've been watching the video you posted with your build, around 7:00 in you're grazing on a 4.
I think that means you're only getting base weapon damage on those hits.

My dagger's crit/multi is 16-20/x3 which is not the best. Also damage is only better when I can make mobs helpless with freeze or Mighty Slam. Dps is not the strength of this build 🙃
This build shines in a party, not solo. The purpose of this build is to be the 1st wave, run into a pack of mobs/redname. Get the aggro, keep the aggro meanwhile dps-ing them a bit. Engaging mobs by me gives a chance to other party members to do their jobs and keeps them alive.

curious- why do you say the wiz level lost its purpose?
Earlier I tried different versions where I used it for the +10%AC/Eldricht Strike/Metamagic Feat, but with the current version of the build got not enough Enhancment points. I ve been working to improve my offense while keping my defense high and the Warlock level is better to fulfill that goal.

the build works with any classes but if you go fleshy you have to take Construct Essence and Improved Construct Essence to have good selfheals.
Warforged Racial tree has some boost for Melee Power/AC/PRR in it. I recommend to go WF if you have minimum 11 Racaial Points. It makes the build stronger. Otherwise any race is ok. Switch the feats in the updated version, take Construct Essence at level 9 and Improved Construct Essence at lvl 15 (instead of Sneak of Shadows) and you good.
I still play my 1st lifer Deep Gnome version. She is an ICE build too. Link also above there.
